hey there mango family didn't think that i would need your help soo soon as i have recently joined this forum .. i have been facing a issue with my apache rtr 160 4v , i bought it in last year april and as i am writing this post i have clocked 8800+ kilometers on it but the issue i am facing is idk weird ig because within this time period i have had to already change my front disc pads twice on the second service at 2000kms and now on my fourth service at 8865 kms , idk why but i think there may be something wrong with either the quality of the break pad material or is it genuinely my wrong braking pattern , as for it i brake in a 60:40 ratio 60 percent front and 40% rear , help me know if i should change this method because it works efficiently for me ,below i am posting a photo of the brake pads they both looked the same when changing so i am uploading just one ........................................please help me sought the issue where its with me or my bike ...........thanking you in advance......lots of love and wishing ya'll a happy and safe riding life..

It is difficult for me to tell you what the excat promblem could be because there are several Possible reasons-
1) not using (enough) engine brakeing/ relying completely/ solely on brakes to slowdown
2) aggressive riding style/ hard and "abrupt braking"
3) brake pads are "weak"/ of poor quality
4) had poor brake pads when the bike was new, they got worn out, when you took the bike to the service center they fittet poor quality one, again(chances of something like this happening are low but it is possible)
5) could this be an clearance issue? Even if it was the pads will stop wearing out(as quickly) after a point
Have not heard about this issue from other rtr riders, if it have been an common occurence among RTRs it would have been known by now. Or maybe it is bot discussed enough.
Maybe it could be rider error, many variables are there and info is limited.
Where you live?
What you use the bike for?
How are the roads where you live?
Some question you can ask yourself -
Is there a drop in milage?/ what is the milage compared to other RTR 160s?
If lower than normal, it could mean riding is too aggressive (could be unintetional)
How is the braking performance?(when the pad are at the beginning and middle of their life)
Brake Pads that have good braking power/bite having short life compared to the ones that have poor braking power/bite( given the same riding style)
But this is not entirely true either.
I wish I could tell you a conclusive answer.
I hope the above mentioned points will help you.
And one thing that will definitely help you is talking with other riders, especially those who owm the same bike as yours.
