If you ask me which helmet to buy in 2023. I would instantly suggest AGV K1s, it is hands down one of the best helmets money can buy and here's why.

It is ECE 22.06 certified which makes it just as safe as $1600 FIM homologated Pista GP for $260 which is a steal.

Constructed out of polycarbonate it rivels much expensive shells in almost all ways.

Aerodynamics: This helmet is wind tunnel tested to provide least drag at high speeds. It's possible due to a wide rear spoiler which reduces turbulent vortices generated behind the helmet as it moves through the air. The lowered chin guard resembles a 'V' shape when viewed from the front and guides the air to flow in such a manner that it lifts the helmet to weightlessness at higher velocities.

Ventilation: Thanks to five well designed vents on the front of the helmet, polystyrene ducting inside the helmet and air extractors integrated in the rear

spoiler which works together to keep the air flowing through the helmet while keeping the helmet quiet.

Scope of vision: The helmet comes equiped with a wide 190 degree visor which allows for extreme range of visibility in all scenarios a rider may experience.

Experience: It weighs in at around 1600g and still feels comfortable on long rides due to it's weight being well distributed by the neck cushion which fits snuggly. The cheek pads and crown pads are built extremely well with appropriate porting in the crown pad for efficient air flow.

Versatility: Perfect for touring and daily commute this helmet feels at home on tracks and has become my personal choice in day to day life. There are better helmets in the market but nothing can beat K1s when it comes to price in my opinion.

Who should buy this helmet?

It is comparatively cheap but not cheap enough for the Indian market and is somewhat of a rare commodity. If you ever get an opportunity to buy this helmet, do it without thinking twice. I can guarantee that this helmet will be the stepping stone for riders who are trying to enter the premium helmet market.
